ON THE MOVE: Credit Suisse Alum Bacidore Opens Consultancy

Market veteran Jeff Bacidore has opened his own consultancy firm, The Bacidore Group.
According to Bacidore, his New York-based firm provides consulting and research services to both buy- and sell-side clients, including tactical and strategic consulting, custom algorithm development, assistance in broker algo customizations and quantitative analysis.
Prior to opening his own firm and some freelance consulting, Bacidore was no stranger to the equities market. Most recently he was at Credit Suisse's AES unit. He also served as the the Head of Algorithmic Trading at Goldman Sachs and ITG, as well as Head of Research at the New York Stock Exchange. He brings over 20 years of experience in electronic trading and quantitative finance across multiple asset classes.
Bacidore has designed and implemeted algorithms ranging from low-latency, event driven smart order routers through multi asset, multi day portfolio trading algorithms. His research has been presented at the NYSE, Nasdaq, Securities and Exchange Commission and at other professional and academic conferences.
