ON THE MOVE: Citi's Dunn Named NA Head Markets & Services

Citi has named Deirdre Dunn its new Head of North America Markets and Securities Services. According to a memo seen by Traders Magazine, she will assume all regional Markets responsibilities in addition to her duties as Head of North America G10 Rates.
Dunn joined Citi in 2011 as the Head of the Mortgage TBA Trading Desk and was promoted to the US Head of Rates Sales in 2013. Most recently, she has been responsible for running North America G10 Rates including sales, trading and structuring. Prior to joining Citi, she held several roles in North American and European Rate and Mortgage Trading at Barclays Capital, Lehman Brothers, and Goldman Sachs.
In the internal memo, Citi wrote that “her breadth of product knowledge across multiple sales and trading functions will be a tremendous asset in this role. Deirdre has also played an active part in Citi's diversity, recruiting, mentoring and leadership development efforts.”
As Head of North America Markets and Securities Services, Dunn will work as a key partner to the Global and Regional Product heads in defining and executing the regional strategy, managing the regional North American roles and matrix managing the product roles. She will also work closely with the Legal, Compliance, Risk, Audit and Finance functions to ensure strong governance and controls, in addition to leading a management office that will build and maintain a culture of responsible finance and ethics.

BTIG hired for its TradeSave Electronic Trading division: Joshua Bieber, Cullen Bowden, Martin Kosina and Rob Wands. Bowden and Wands will be based in Dallas, Bieber in New York, and Kosina in the firm’s San Francisco office.
Bieber joined as a Director and is focused on sales and support. Prior to BTIG, he spent more than six years within electronic trading at Bloomberg Tradebook. Previously, Bieber was a Vice President at Citigroup Alternative Investments, where he was also Head of the Long/Short Desk at Tribeca Global.
Bowden onboards as a Senior Vice President focused on sales and support. He brings more than fifteen years of electronic trading experience. Prior to BTIG, Bowden held a client relations role at Thomson Reuters REDI. Earlier in his career, he was a Vice President within Global Execution Services at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Kosina was named a Senior Vice President focused on technical development. Prior to BTIG, he worked within technical leadership and operations on large-scale smart-grid systems deployed in North America and Melbourne, Australia. Previously, Kosina held a role in market data scalability at Yahoo! Finance, and managed trade flow validation within the equities technology business at Goldman Sachs.
Lastly, Wands joined as a Director focused on sales and support. He has over twenty-five years of institutional trading experience. Prior to BTIG, Wands spent twelve years as a Director within Algorithmic Trading Sales at Knight/KCG. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Head of Sales at UNX, and a Senior Vice President, Head of Sales at Capital Institutional Services (CAPIS).
