Interactive Brokers Group to Cease Options Market Making

There is one less options market maker in the business.

According to a report in Reuters, Interactive Brokers Group announced that it was getting out of the options market making business. The firm said it will discontinue options market making activities globally, which are conducted through its Timber Hill companies.

The cessation will be gradual over the coming months.

The firm also said that will continue trading stocks and other related instruments.
