Here are some recent hires and promotions in the equities trading world as Wall Street pros make that move, right now.

Dave Frisone joined Aqua Securities in New York as a senior vice president and head of sales. Frisone, who spent 18 years at Bloomberg, was most recently head of tier one account sales at Bloomberg LP on the OMS side. Most of his career has been spent at Bloomberg Tradebook, where he helped build the companys electronic brokerage business. Frisone was head of the electronic sales trading desk for the Americas at Bloomberg Tradebook after running North American brokerage sales there. At Aqua, he will report to the companys chief executive officer, Kevin Foley.
Henry Yegerman joins Markit as a director in market analytics and research in New York. Yegerman, with more than 25 years of industry experience, will be involved in the companys trade cost analysis products. He previously spent 12 years with ITG, where he was managing director of analytical products and creator of its TCA products. Earlier in his career, he was a director of product management at Reuters after spending nine years at Morgan Stanley working on index-based products for portfolio analysis and risk management.
Thomas DeFazio joins E*Trade Capital Markets as a senior institutional sales manager. DeFazio, a 25-year veteran, was previously a sales manager at CR Brokerage, the broker-dealer subsidiary of Charles River Development. Prior to that, he spent four years at Aqua Securities selling its U.S. equity crossing system, as well as its non-U.S. equity direct market access services.
Philip Adesso joins Nasdaq OMX to lead product strategy and management of event driven analytics. Adesso, a veteran with more than 10 years of experience, spent the last year at Thomson Reuters, and prior to that, four years at Dow Jones working on their machine readable news offerings. He reports to Jeff Kimsey.
David Collett was named as chief operating officer and partner at UAT, a technology firm that specializes in the sub-advised industry. Collett, with more than 25 years of experience on the buyside and sellside, oversees all of UATs day-to-day operational, administrative and financial activities. Prior to UAT, he worked at Signature Group Holdings, where he was treasurer and senior vice president of finance. He reports to chief executive Allan Chiulli.
ESN has hired two professionals. Douglass Bennett joins in New York as vice president for international equity sales. Bennett, a 17-year pro, will focus on German equities. He previously worked at Societe Generale in New York and Zurich where he sold European equities. David Benichou also comes onboard as a senior vice president in international equity sales. Benichou, a 16-year pro, will market equities research to North American institutions. He spent the last 10 years at Oddo Securities marketing European research. Both report to Vincent Fourneau.
