In mid-August, the Financial Services Authority in London released its final rules regarding compensation practices by the financial services firms it regulates, which must be implemented by Jan. 1, 2010. By the time the U.S. Federal Reserve and the SEC propose their compensation rules, it's safe to predict they will resemble those of the FSA.
