ON THE MOVE: BNY Lands Regelman; Bennett to Hehmeyer

BNY Mellon has appointed Roman Regelman to a new role as Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Digital. In this position, Regelman will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for the firm’s digital future and investing in client and internal digital capabilities, including data management, analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics. He will build a new global team across the company, developing and attracting top digital talent. He brings over 25 years of experience in digital, operations and management consulting and launched several fintechs. Most recently, he was a Partner and Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he co-led their Financial Institutions Digital business. Regelman will report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Charles W. Scharf, and will join the firm’s Executive Committee, BNY Mellon’s senior-most governing body.

Hehmeyer Trading + Investments landed Roxanne Bennett for its Hehmeyer Capital Management group as a Managing Director. Bennett will work closely with Hehmeyer's current trading managers, identify new talent for Hehmeyer's managed futures platform, maintain investor relations, and help drive the evolution of the Hehmeyer Investment Platform. She has over 25 years of managed futures experience and, most recently, she was a MD with Price Asset Management, a registered commodity trading advisor and commodity pool operator. Bennett also spent over a decade at ABN Amro building managed futures portfolios and principally guaranteed products.

Goldman Sachs has named investment-banking executive John Waldron as president and chief operating officer, effective Oct. 1. Stephen Scherr will become chief financial officer in November, succeeding Martin Chavez, who will become co-head of the trading division.

Linq3, a technology solutions provider, announced a new leadership team. Led by Tom Spiegel, Linq3 Chairman and CEO, the executive team is responsible for executing the company’s vision of innovation and transformation.  The balance of the team are as follows:
