Barclays Lowers September Equity Volume Forecasts

The more things change, the more they stay the same - especially when it comes to U.S. equity trading volume. Barclays Capital has adjusted its September forecast for U.S. equities average daily volume --ADV-- down to 6.0 billion shares for NYSE Euronext and Nasdaq traded securities. It originally was expecting 6.1 billion shares to trade.
