>>Timothy McArdle joined Tullett Prebon Financial Services in Jersey City, N.J., as a market surveillance analyst. McArdle previously spent nearly 20 years at ConvergEx and its predecessor companies in a variety of sales and trading roles.


>> WallachBeth hired three sales traders: Hearst Zhang, Simon Russell and Rod Lombard.

Zhang, an eight-year pro, focuses on institutional sales trading, listed and OTC options. He spent the last year at Louis Capital Markets and before that was on the cash equity and options desk at Newedge USA. He also worked at Pelion Securities and Dresdner Kleinwort.

Russell, a 13-year veteran, will also cover institutional sales trading, ETFs and options. He spent the last two years at BGC Partners. Prior to that, he led international research sales at Pali Capital and was a sales trader at MF Global.

Lombard joined as a sales trader on WallachBeth's institutional listed and OTC derivatives trading desk. Lombard, a 15-year pro, was at BGC Partners for the last five years; he also did stints at IDB's Credit Lyonnais, Tullett Prebon and Garban International. All three new hires report to chief executive Michael Wallach.


>>Brian Dunderdale joined Topeka Capital Markets as a sales trader in the New York firm's San Francisco office. Dunderdale was previously a sales trader at Capstone Investments. That firm shut down late last year.


>>Angelo Perrone joined Northeast Securities on its market-making desk in Mitchel Field, N.Y. Perrone has spent the last 20 years in the trading rooms at Pershing and Sandgrain Securities.


>>Todd Hathaway joined New York's Divine Capital Markets as a senior global equity trader. Hathaway was most recently the director of international trading at Mizuho Securities.


>> Brean Capital made four hires in equity trading in recent months. First, the New York-based boutique investment bank brought on Roberto Friedlander as head of equity trading. Friedlander was previously a director of equity trading at Lazard Capital Markets for four and a half years.

Brean also hired three sales traders: John Ratkoski, Stephen Murphy and Sadler Ramsdell. Ratkoski, based in New York, was previously a sales trader with Rochdale Securities in Red Bank, N.J. Murphy, based in Boston, was a sales trader at Nomura Securities. His hire follows by one month the departure of sales trader Michael Comerford from Brean's Boston office. Ramsdell will cover the mid-Atlantic region for Brean. He was previously with Credit Suisse Securities for nearly 25 years.


>>Steve Belge joined Macquarie Securities in its Boston office as a sales trader. Belge was previously a sales trader at Barclays Capital.


>> Veteran-owned Academy Securities hired two equity sales traders: Randi Feldman and Tim Coughlin.
