Options Executives Sound Off

The heads of the seven U.S. options exchanges are an unruly bunch, but Anthony McCormick, vice president for equity options at Charles Schwab & Co., got quick answers out of them at the annual Futures Industry Association Expo in November. The panel speculated widely on the tremendous change and growth currently taking place in the options industry.

The questions were posed by McCormick, who moderated the panel in Chicago. The options execs in the line-up: Michael Bickford, American Stock Exchange; Edward Boyle, NYSE Arca Options; Bill Brodsky, Chicago Board Options Exchange; Sandy Frucher, Philadelphia Stock Exchange; David Krell, International Securities Exchange; Scott Morris, Boston Options Exchange; and Adam Nunes, Nasdaq Options Market.
