*Thomas Kim joined Townsend Analytics as head of trading services. As such, he will be responsible for Townsend's flagship RealTick trading platform, as well as direct market access and broker/specialist routing, algorithmic trading, trade and order management, and regulatory reporting tools.Kim joins Townsend from TradingScreen, where he was the chief operating officer and treasurer.Prior to TradingScreen, Kim held positions as the chief operating officer of both Mandarin Capital Technologies and FinancialSockets.

*Michael Hayes joined Pipeline Trading Systems asvicepresident and executivedirector ofclientservices. His responsibilities encompass sales, implementation and training, account management, and client support.Hayes was most recently a director at Charles River Development, where he led global electronic trading efforts.He has more than 20 years of experience in senior management positions.

*Chris Siclare recently joined the International Securities Exchange and will be responsible for sales and business development of the newly launched ISE Stock Exchange. Siclare will focus on key sell-side relationships. He reports to Andrew Brenner, who heads the ISE Stock Exchange. Siclare previously held positions with Island ECN, Instinet Group, and the Nasdaq Stock Market.

*Abel Noser, a New York brokerage and trade-cost analysis firm, promoted two employees and hired another. William P. Conlin was named chief operating officer. Conlin, a 20-year veteran at the firm, previously oversaw the pension fund client business, as well as the firm's commission recapture program. Peter Weiler was named director of global sales. Weiler previously headed investment manager sales. David M. Sobel joined Abel Noser as executive vice president and chief compliance officer. Sobel joined from the Goldstein Law Group and is a former trader, having been an NYSE floor broker and an OTC market maker.

*Last month Deborah Kase joined TradeTrek Securities as a managing director of institutional electronic execution services. Kase, a 20-year veteran at BNY Brokerage, will be marketing TradeTrek's electronic trading tools, as well as its trade-cost analysis products. Kase previously headed the DEx client support teams at BNY.
