Congressional Members Press for the Opt-Out'

Dozens of members of Congress have written the Securities and Exchange Commission saying they favor an opt-out provision of the trade-through rule. But a much smaller number of federal lawmakers have sent letters contending that the trade-through rule should be kept intact, according to the Security Traders Association. The STA, in its latest newsletter, counts 34 members as supporting reform and eight calling for the status quo.
