eSpeed Equities, which is designed to provide an intelligent order-routing and execution platform, will offer equity market participants with multiple points of entry. It will also provide simultaneous electronic access to the world's largest exchanges, market makers and ECNs, according to company officials.

The firm noted that the new product also includes a proprietary millisecond trade and order routing tool developed by eSpeed. It is designed to find hidden liquidity reserves and unpublished quotes for price improvements on trades.

The eSpeed Equities platform is now available to equity market participants around the world, the company said. Howard Lutnick, CEO of eSpeed, added that the company's advanced technology gives it a competitive edge. -
