SEC Chief on Market Structure Reform

SEC Chairman William Donaldson, appearing before the Senate Subcommittee on Securities and Investments, said the SEC doesn't expect to take "any precipitous" action on market structure reform. That remark upset the subcommittee chairman. A spokesman for Senator Mike Enzi (R-Wy), said he was "disappointed that Chairman Donaldson is not setting forth a timetable for addressing problems."
