Two of the key members of the management team during the rise of the Knight Trading Group have joined another firm.

Michael Dorsey, former general counsel for the Knight Trading Group, is joining M.H. Myerson & Co. Dorsey will serve as executive vice president, general counsel and director of new product development at the small OTC dealer. Dorsey will focus on technology and execution services.

Myerson also announced that John Leighton has been named co-chairman and chief executive officer. Leighton was formerly executive vice president, managing director of global sales, for Knight. Martin Myerson will remain as co-chairman until the end of the year. Then he plans to serve as chairman emeritus for the next two years.
